Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Child Support Case Manager in Norfolk to provide hands-on, personal case management for clients with the goal of increasing consistent financial support for children.

Responsibilities include applying federal and tribal policies, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, initiating paternity actions, and coordinating enforcement and modification of orders. Travel within service area is required.

Qualifications

• . Associates degree in human services or child support field; 1 year experience in Ponca Tribe context.
• . Knowledge of Tribal or District Court systems; Notary eligibility; Nebraska driver’s license.
• . Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong customer service; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional PTN-CSP office environment.
• Gains knowledge of the federal child support rules and policies.
• Learn and apply PTN-CSP policies and procedures; comply with state and tribal regulations.
• Reviews and processes all applications for Child Support services per PTN-CSP policies.
• Responds to inquiries from other jurisdictions and customers in a timely manner.
• Interviews custodial and non-custodial parents in person or by phone.
• Assists with paperwork for paternity actions, court hearings, and enforcement of orders.
• Generates Child Support Guideline calculations per PTN-CSP guidelines.
• Coordinates with Financial Specialist and Tribal Court staff for case scheduling.
• Willingness to travel, including out-of-state travel, as required.
