Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Family Coordinator to implement and monitor Strengthening Families and related family-centered programs. The role requires coordinating activities, promoting cultural heritage, and ensuring grant objectives are met across sites within a service area spanning multiple counties.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in a human services field or education, plus several years of program development, child welfare experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field or education related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of program development, implementation, training, and evaluation.
  • Two years of experience in educational facilitation from curriculum design through session instruction.
  • Two years of experience working with children and families within the child welfare system.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Tribal and cultural heritage while supporting the Human Services program's mission and goals.
  • Leads and coordinates grant-related project goals within the allowable timeline.
  • Compiles activity records and reports to meet grant objectives.
  • Identify and implement evidence-based family programming models to improve family outcomes.
  • Maintain project data for valid reporting and progress tracking.
  • Onboard staff and deliver trainings and materials to build capacity.
