Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Family Coordinator to implement and monitor the Strengthening Families program across its service area. This role will promote tribal culture, coordinate monthly activity calendars, and collaborate with PTN department staff and external agencies.

Responsibilities include coordinating grant-related activities, developing training materials, and ensuring confidentiality while working some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or education related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Two years of program development, implementation, training, and evaluation.
  • Two years of experience working with children and families within the child welfare system.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Tribal and cultural heritage while supporting Human Services goals.
  • Lead and coordinate grant-related project goals within the timeline.
  • Compile activity records and reports for grant progress and reporting.
  • Identify and implement evidence-based family programming models to increase healthy family lifestyles.
  • Maintain project data for accurate reporting and program evaluation.
  • Onboard staff and develop skills pertinent to job duties.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and create training materials.
