Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a part-time Triage RN to join the OB/GYN Medicine Practice in Baltimore, MD. This role operates on day shifts and offers 24 hours per week, with the chance to work alongside world-class Johns Hopkins nurses.

The RN will coordinate patient care, triage urgent symptoms, educate patients, and support regulatory and operational needs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one (1) year experience (Required).
• Previous OB/GYN outpatient clinic experience (Highly Preferred).
• Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.
• Employ the nursing process to obtain data and develop a plan of care.
• Respond to incoming patient calls and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
• Provide patient education for acute and chronic conditions.
• Support the practice for regulatory and operational issues.
• Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.
