Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a Triage RN to join our OB/GYN Medicine Practice. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week, day shift) with competitive pay and growth opportunities within the Johns Hopkins system.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, coordinating care, delivering patient education, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Requires RN license, CPR, and at least 1 year of OB/GYN outpatient experience; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate/Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one year experience (Required).
• OB/GYN outpatient clinic experience highly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Team player!

This RN position will:

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.
• Employ the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care.
• Respond to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
• Provide patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues.
• Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree,Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one (1) year experience (Required)
• Previous experience in OB/GYN outpatient clinic (Highly Preferred)
• Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and listening skills

Salary Range:

Minimum $39.64/hour - Maximum $61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
