Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Triage Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Medicine Practice. This full-time, day-shift role offers opportunities to deliver coordinated patient care alongside renowned Johns Hopkins clinicians.

You will triage calls and MyChart messages, provide patient education, and support regulatory and operational needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one (1) year experience (Required).
• Pediatric outpatient clinic experience (Highly Preferred).
• Bilingual English / Spanish is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is looking for a Triage RN to join our Pediatric Medicine Practice. This is your chance to work alongside world-class Johns Hopkins nurses and staff, with exceptional benefits and countless opportunities for professional growth.

This RN Position Will

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.
• Employ the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care.
• Respond to incoming patient calls, and MyChart messages requiring triage of urgent symptoms.
• Provide patient education for acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues.
• Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
