Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is looking for a Triage RN to join our Pediatric Medicine Practice. This is your chance to work alongside world-class Johns Hopkins nurses and staff, with exceptional benefits and countless opportunities for professional growth.

This RN position will provide and coordinate care, employ the nursing process to obtain data, respond to incoming patient calls and MyChart messages requiring triage, and educate patients on acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Associate, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current MD Registered Nurse license (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Minimum one year experience (Required).
• Pediatric outpatient clinic experience (Highly Preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Team player!

Responsibilities

This RN position will:

• Provide and coordinate care to patients.
• Employ the nursing process to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care.

• Support the practice as needed for regulatory and operational issues.
• Guide and advise other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with quality management and case management teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
