Pay Range

This range is provided by Georgia Pain and Spine Care. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $13.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Workdays are Monday-Friday, from 7:30AM to 4:30PM.

Position Summary

The Clinical Triage Medical Assistant assesses and prioritizes patient needs to ensure timely and appropriate care. Responsibilities include triaging calls, providing initial guidance, facilitating referrals and follow-ups, evaluating symptoms, coordinating care, and managing inquiries to ensure efficient patient flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, collect medical information, and measure vital signs.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms.
• Collect and log laboratory specimens properly.
• Present patient information to healthcare providers before examinations.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure medical records, complete diagnostic coding.
• Facilitate smooth patient transitions within the clinical setting.
• Assist with fitting and adjusting back braces as prescribed.
• Perform additional duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress, physically demanding environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA and infection control.
• Strong customer service, communication skills, and empathy.
• Proficient in manual dexterity and clinical procedures knowledge.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, manual dexterity, and exposure to clinical hazards. Adherence to safety protocols and PPE use is essential. The environment includes exposure to medical equipment and bodily fluids, with moderate noise levels and temperature variations.
