Job summary

American Beacon Partners, a diversified asset management platform, is seeking a VP, Market Director for the Tri-State territory (PA, NJ, NY). You will act as external wholesaler to grow assets in sub-advised mutual funds and ETFs, building a territory plan and partnering with an Internal Sales Consultant.

This role demands a proven sales track record in asset management, the ability to travel up to 75% and reside within the territory, preferably near Philadelphia metro or northern/central NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• Seven-plus years in asset management distribution; at least 3 years external wholesaling.
• Proven record of growing a territory with measurable results.
• Series 7 and 63 registrations (held at hire or within period).
• Willingness to travel ~75% and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets across mutual funds and ETFs.
• Develop and execute a written territory business plan.
• Maintain advisor-facing activities: in-person, branch, virtual, study groups.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from contact to funded assets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve advisor issues.
• Represent the firm at conferences and events.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and timely reporting.
