Job summary

American Beacon Partners, a diversified asset management platform, seeks a VP, Market Director for the Tri-State region. You will lead external wholesaling efforts, grow assets in sub-advised funds and ETFs, and partner with internal teams to optimize distribution across independent BD, RIAs, and banks.

Residence within PA, NJ, or NY is preferred. You will craft territory plans, manage a 2-person team with an Internal Sales Consultant, and travel extensively to build relationships and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• 7+ years in asset management distribution, including a minimum of three years in an external, territory-facing wholesaling role.
• Proven record of growing a territory with verifiable production results.
• Knowledge of actively managed mutual funds and ETFs; ETF trading mechanics and model placements.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registrations at hire or soon after start date.
• Willingness to travel ~75% with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual gross and net sales targets across mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and Privates.
• Develop and execute a written territory business plan and segment advisors by opportunity.
• Maintain advisor-facing activity including in-person, branch, and virtual meetings to support the plan.
• Identify and convert new producing advisors and deepen wallet share with existing producers.
• Build and manage a documented pipeline from initial contact through funded assets.
• Represent the firm at regional and national conferences and industry events.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and measure return on territory activity.
