Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group seeks a Regional Sales Director for Retirement Plan Sales to grow a large territory across Southern NJ, PA, MD and DC, targeting new group takeover plans and cross-selling retirement products.

You will report to the Regional VP, lead a high-energy sales team, and drive client engagements, cold calling, and relationship management to exceed targets. A bachelor’s degree and FINRA licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• . 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience with proven efficiency in selling, presenting, prospecting, and territory management.
• . Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b) for employer plans.
• . Driven to make outbound cold calls to prospective clients.
• . Demonstrated cold calling sales ability and results.
• . Ability to effectively communicate with clients and partners.
• . Strategic thinker who can work independently and manage relationships.
• . Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE.
• . Valid driver’s license; regular travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory, uncovering new sources of business.
• Meet with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b retirement plans through multiple strategies, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Cross-sell solutions and exceed goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings with CRM for the top five to ten clients to position the RSD for introductions and opportunities.
