Job summary

American Beacon Partners, a diversified asset management platform, seeks a Market Director for the Tri-State region (PA, NJ, NY). This external wholesaler will grow assets in sub-advised mutual funds and ETFs and partner with an Internal Sales Consultant as a two-person team.

The role requires proven territory growth, deep knowledge of mutual funds and ETFs, and the ability to drive performance with advisors through a data-driven approach. Residence in the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, investment management, or related field.
• Seven or more years in asset management distribution, including 3+ years in an external, territory-facing wholesaling role.
• Experience growing a territory with verifiable production results.
• Knowledge of actively managed mutual funds and ETFs, including model placements.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registrations at hire or soon after start date.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed annual gross and net sales targets across mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and Privates.
• Develop a territory business plan and segment advisors by opportunity.
• Maintain advisor-facing activity with in-person, branch, and virtual meetings.
• Identify and convert new producing advisors and deepen wallet share.
• Build and manage a pipeline from initial contact through funded assets.
• Represent the firm at conferences and events and manage CRM records.
