Job summary

Michels Trenchless, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to plan, organize, and implement project management principles for assigned projects. The role requires coordinating field operations, materials procurement, and submittals while maintaining schedule and budget expectations.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field with 3+ years of experience, familiarity with multiple delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Experience coordinating field operations, materials procurement and submittals preparation.
• Exposure to multiple project delivery methods including Design Bid Build, Design Build, Progressive Design Build, CMGC and other is desired.
• Exposure to Trenchless Technology is desired.
• PMP is desired.
• Travel up to 30% is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a designated project to ensure goals are met within time frames and funding.
• Apply project management principles and monitor progress against plans.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders and teams.
• Meet deadlines and respond to changing circumstances.
• Travel up to 30% as needed for project support.
