Job summary

TreEscape Aerial Adventure Park, Vernon, NJ, is seeking an Admissions Guide to warmly welcome guests, explain ticket options, and ensure a smooth first impression. You will manage reservations, process tickets and sales, and uphold safety standards at the park entrance.

In this role you will handle payments, waivers, inventory records, and phone inquiries while collaborating with the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Weekend, some weekdays, and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Comfortable using POS systems.
• Willingness to learn about aerial adventure offerings.
• Must be available to work weekends, select weekdays, Night Climbs, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Explain park information including ticket types, prices, amenities, group rates, policies, etc.
• Enforce park policies and safety standards.
• Manage existing reservations for smooth check-in.
• Process walk-in tickets, merchandise, photos, and food/beverage sales via POS system.
• Handle electronic payments accurately and record transactions.
• Manage participant waivers.
• Record inventory for merchandise and food/beverage items.
• Answer park inquiries by phone.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team for seamless guest experiences.
• Address guest concerns or issues and escalate when needed.
• Promote TreEscape and Great Gorge events and offerings.
• Stay informed about park activities and safety updates to provide accurate information.

Position Type: Part Time/Seasonal
Position Overview:
As an Admission’s Guide, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will
play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth guest’s services
experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a
passion for outdoor adventure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Understand and provide accurate park information including ticket types, prices,
  amenities, group rates, policies, etc.
• Abide and enforce all park policies in compliance with safety standards.
• Manage existing reservations to ensure a smooth check-in experience.
• Understand and successfully process walk-in tickets, merchandise, photo’s, and
  food/beverage sales through our point-of-sale system.
• Handle electronic payments accurately to ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
• Manage participant waivers.
• Record merchandise and food/beverage inventory to ensure all products remain
  in-stock.
• Answer phone calls regarding park inquiries.
• Monitor and maintain your work area for a clean and organized space.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout the
  park.
• Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally; escalating to
  management when necessary.
• Promote TreEscape and Great Gorge events, specials, Hef’s Hut, etc. to enhance guest
  engagement.
• Stay informed about park activities, safety protocols, and updates to provide accurate
  information to guests.
