Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for full-time, non-exempt work in Wisconsin. Entry-level role with hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will trim and remove trees, operate tools, and ensure safety around the job site.

Responsibilities include load/unload trucks, feed debris into woodchippers, and assist in training new staff. A driver’s license is required and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to work with hands overhead.
• Ability to walk, climb, and work on ladders in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains and services tools and equipment.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, drives trucks as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Sets up barriers and warning signs.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Performs other related work as assigned.
