Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to remove hazards and provide clearance for powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will operate and maintain tools, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather while following safety protocols. A high school diploma is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required; union membership may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders and uneven surfaces.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks; feeds debris into wood chipper.
• Keeps work area clean; safeguards coworkers from hazards.
• Assists training new employees.
• Inspects tools/equipment; requests repairs.
• Maintains good housekeeping at work locations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
