Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber in Minnesota to trim, tops, and reshape trees for utility line clearance. You will operate and service equipment, load debris, and follow safety protocols on job sites.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to climb and work at heights, and a willingness to join the local union. Competitive wages are paid weekly with benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 18+ years old, no fear of heights, excellent hand-to-eye coordination, ability to walk, climb and work from ladders, and operate at height in varied weather conditions.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; entry-level, prior experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up and feeds debris into wood chipper as needed.
• Maintains safety around work areas and with traffic.
• Assists training of new employees and checks equipment.
