Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, top, and reshape trees to remove low-hanging branches and ensure clearance for utility powerlines.

You will operate and service tools and equipment, load debris, feed brush into wood chippers, and assist in training new employees while maintaining safety and following company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunk sections as needed.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect employees and the public.
• Assists training new employees.
