Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt field work. You will trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and maintain safety while supporting daily vegetation management programs.

Minimum qualifications include 18+ years old, ability to work above head height, and comfort with heights. High School Diploma preferred; entry-level role with potential growth and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Capable of working in unfavorable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
