Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in Pilot Mountain, NC. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety around work sites.

You will load materials, guide crews, and assist in training new employees while upholding company safety standards and procedures. A strong willingness to work at heights is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Casts debris into manageable pieces and loads/unloads trucks.
• Spreads area with equipment to prevent growth and hazards.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks when needed.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
