Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and related tasks across job sites in North Carolina. The role requires operating tools, handling debris, and maintaining safety around crews and the public.

The position is full-time with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and life/disability coverage. Previous experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
