Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a motivated Trimmer/Climber in Mount Airy, NC. You will trim and remove trees, climb, operate and maintain tools, and ensure safe work areas while supporting crew goals.

This entry-level to experienced role offers full-time, non-exempt hourly pay with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, EAP, and disability coverage. Pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in challenging conditions.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and loads debris; feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in safe condition.
• Assists in training new employees when required.
