Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services in Mountain Grove, MO are seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator to operate heavy mulching equipment and clear vegetation around electrical lines. Prior mulcher experience with Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer is required.

This full-time role emphasizes safe operation, daily equipment prep, and collaboration with the Foreperson. You will assist maintenance and may lead crew activities. Travel for storm restoration work is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in related fields.
• Knowledge of safe operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to obtain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Valid driver''s license and CDL/DOT for truck operation.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce them.
• Prepare equipment and materials as directed by Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Assist in daily maintenance and repair of tools used in operations.
• Assist other crew members and take a leadership role when required.
• Clean up and dispose of debris and keep work areas clear.
• Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers to protect employees and the public.
• Track and report mileage to Foreperson.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
