Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Springfield, MO is seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for clearing branches and tree material on electrical lines. Must have mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer.

The role requires a High School diploma (preferred) and prior heavy equipment experience; CDL and DOT Medical Card may be required to operate trucks over 26,000 lbs. Travel for storm restoration as needed; background check and drug screen are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Mulcher/Geo Boy/Barko/skidsteer experience required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Follow safety rules and maintain equipment.
• Prepare equipment and materials for daily work.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
• Assist crew and lead when required.
• Set up barriers and protect workers/public.
• Report mileage to Foreperson.
• Travel for storm restoration as needed.
