Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mulcher/Equipment Operator in O’Fallon, MO. The role requires operating heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, with mulcher experience or Geo Boy/Barko/skidsteer as prerequisites.

The position is full-time, with travel for storm restoration as needed. Candidates should have prior heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, plus valid licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer.
• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules.
• Prepare equipment and materials as directed by Foreperson.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Lead and assist crew members as needed.
• Cleans up and disposes of debris and sets up safety barriers.
