Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Mulcher Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, with experience on mulchers or Geo Boy, Barko, or skidsteer. The role requires safety-first operation and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities include equipment prep and maintenance, assisting crew members, and supporting storm restoration efforts, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must have and maintain a Driver’s License; CDL and DOT Medical Card if driving a truck over 26,000 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate mulcher equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Assist in equipment and materials preparation as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Work with crew to complete daily tasks and provide leadership when required.
• Set up barriers, signs, and safety zones to protect workers and the public.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
