Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seeks an experienced Mulcher Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. You must have mulcher experience or be skilled with Geo Boy, Barko, or skidsteer equipment, and you will operate heavy machinery in demanding outdoor environments.

The role requires valid licensing (CDL/DOT as applicable), adherence to safety rules, and readiness for storm-work deployments.

Qualifications

• Mulcher experience or Geo Boy, Barko or skidsteer required.
• Prior heavy equipment operating experience in utility vegetation management or related fields preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver's License; CDL and DOT Medical Card if operating trucks over 26,000 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for daily work.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Lead and assist crew members when required.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
