Overview

Tree care Groundsman role now available for experienced tree care professionals. Join our dynamic team as a Tree Care Groundsman and play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the gorgeous trees throughout our high-end residential customers' outdoor spaces.

This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with the most breathtaking trees, utilizing your skills in tree care and equipment operation.

As a Tree Care Groundsman, you will support all of our tree care portfolio, including trimming and pruning, and ensuring that all properties are kept in pristine condition. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create inviting environments that inspire and delight.

Pay rate depends on tree care industry experience, with more pay available for CDL.

Responsibilities

• Assist climbers and crew leaders working on the ground and in the trees
• Safely operate equipment and tools: chippers, chainsaws to perform tree trimming, landscape maintenance, and other groundskeeping tasks on high-end residential estates
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking of various types of trucks and equipment
• Perform debris removal, clearing limbs and brush from the site safely, ensuring the proper implementation of tree felling procedures
• Support landscaping projects by planting new greenery, mulching beds, and installing landscape features
• Perform routine inspections of grounds to identify hazards or areas needing attention and address them promptly
• Assist with the implementation of work zone safety procedures (cones, signs)
• Experience: Minimum of two years of tree care experience working with chippers, chain saws, blowers, and various hand tools

Compensation
