Job summary

LandGraphics Landscape & Arborcare Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our growing team, performing pruning, trimming, removals, and other tree care services while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards.

You will climb with ropes, operate chainsaws and rigging, and help keep job sites safe and organized. A minimum of 2 years of professional tree climbing experience is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional tree climbing experience preferred.
• Experience pruning and removals of trees.
• Knowledge of climbing, rigging, and tree care equipment.
• Ability to safely operate chainsaws and related tools.
• Valid California driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• ISA Arborist or Tree Worker certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and approved climbing equipment.
• Prune, trim, thin, and remove trees as required.
• Rig and lower tree sections with proper techniques.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, woodchippers, stump grinders, and other equipment.
• Inspect trees for hazards, disease, and structural concerns.
• Maintain climbing gear and tools in safe condition.
• Keep job sites safe and organized; follow safety policies.
• Communicate with crew, supervisors, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

LandGraphics is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform tree pruning, trimming, removals, and other tree care services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. This position is ideal for an experienced climber who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing equipment.
• Perform tree pruning, trimming, thinning, and removals.
• Safely rig and lower tree sections using proper rigging techniques.
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, woodchippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment.
• Inspect trees for hazards, disease, and structural concerns.
• Maintain climbing gear, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company safety policies and participate in required safety training.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
