Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC is seeking an experienced Climber II for advanced tree care tasks in outdoor environments. You will prune, cablING, brace, and perform removals while supporting team operations and site cleanup. Intermediate rigging and chainsaw skills are required, along with strict PPE adherence.

The role demands working in all weather, long hours, and compliance with safety standards. Training and certifications in EHAP, First Aid, and CPR are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated arboriculture skills and verifiable experience in tree care.
• Follows roping, rigging and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Reads safety rules and operation manuals.
• Able to interpret varied written/oral instructions.
• Communicates safely with climbers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tree care including pruning up to 100 ft tall.
• Access trees safely, move through canopies, remove branches without damage.
• Operate chippers, trucks, and blowers with care and efficiency.
• Use chainsaws both ground and canopy-based with skill.
• Use hand tools to perform tree care tasks.
• Design basic rigging for safe branch/tree removals.
• Wear PPE per standards and maintain a clean work zone.
• Follow plans to prevent property damage and injuries.
