Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Climber II to perform intermediate tree care, including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and tree removals. You will assist in site clearing and manage debris while adhering to safety standards and company protocols.

Responsibilities include pruning in trees up to 100 feet, safe canopy access, operation of chippers, trucks, blowers, and chainsaws, plus rigging for safe removals.

Qualifications

• Demonstration of role specific skills or verifiable requisite experience.
• Ability to inspect and assess roping and rigging, equipment maintenance, and report malfunctions.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Ability to calculate weights and distances for arboricultural tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tree care such as pruning and limb removal up to 100 feet.
• Access trees safely using company protocols and move through canopies carefully.
• Operate powered equipment (chippers, trucks, blowers) and use chainsaws safely.
• Design and configure basic rigging to remove branches and trees.
• Maintain safe work zones and prevent property damage during operations.
