Job summary

Brightview Landscapes LLC is seeking a Climber I to support tree care operations, including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals. Responsibilities include assisting with site clearing and debris chipping, while following safety protocols and company procedures.

The role involves working outdoors, using PPE, and learning climbing and rigging techniques under supervision. Benefits and full-time schedules offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated role-specific skills or verifiable requisite experience.
• Able to follow directions and procedures related to roping/rigging, equipment maintenance and reporting malfunctions.
• Read and interpret sales orders, safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal on the ground and in trees up to 60 feet tall.
• Access trees safely per company protocols and move through the canopy while removing branches without damage.
• Safely operate powered equipment such as chippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Perform basic to intermediate chainsaw techniques both ground-based and canopy-based.
• Use hand tools (saws, pruning tools, rakes, shovels) for tree care tasks.
• Wear PPE per industry standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a safe and organized work zone.
