Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Climber I to work in the trees performing pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals. You will support the team in site clearing and debris disposal and operate equipment such as chippers and blowers.

Responsibilities include safe access and movement in the canopy, basic to intermediate chainsaw work, and using hand tools to complete tasks. Candidates must follow PPE protocols and maintain a safe work zone.

Qualifications

• Clear ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to collaborate with a climbing crew to complete tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning and limb removal in trees up to 60 feet.
• Access trees safely and move within the canopy.
• Operate powered equipment (chippers, trucks, blowers).
• Use chainsaw and related tools safely for ground and canopy work.
• Maintain safe work zones and follow PPE protocols.
• Assist in site clearing and debris disposal.
