Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Cleveland, TX is seeking a full-time Tree Climber to responsibly climb, prune, and remove trees, requiring at least one year of professional climbing experience in line clearance. A High School diploma is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is helpful.

You will follow safety protocols, operate hand saws, pole saws, pruners, loppers, and gas-powered chain saws, perform equipment checks, and assist with storm restoration work.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional climber experience in line clearance.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Driver's license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees according to Foreperson’s directives.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; operate chippers as directed.
• Work from ground with hand/power tools and ensure equipment safety.
• Perform duties for storm restoration work as needed.
