Job summary

Heartwood Tree Care in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sales Arborist to generate new business and nurture client relationships. You will assess tree care needs, offer expert recommendations, and present solutions that protect tree health and safety while meeting client objectives.

You’ll conduct site assessments, prepare detailed estimates for pruning, removal, fertilization, and pest management, and collaborate with the operations team to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in arboriculture or tree-care sales.
• ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Meet with potential and existing clients to assess tree care needs and propose solutions.
• Develop strategies to generate new business and expand the client base.
• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for tree care services.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate tree health and landscape conditions.
• Maintain client relationships with excellent service and follow-up.
• Stay updated on industry practices and regulations to ensure quality service.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate execution and address client concerns.
• Maintain records of sales activities and project statuses in the CRM.
