Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC—looking for a Tree Care Service Business Developer to manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing. You will collaborate across operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration to respond to bids and achieve sales targets.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong communication skills, willingness to travel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Appropriate Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA or Certified Arborist)
• 3–5 years of extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at mid-to-senior levels
• Experience in service industry with commercial contract sales desirable
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and CRM/SFA tools
• Proven sales goal attainment in longer selling cycles
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Local knowledge and contacts in market segments preferred

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate Tree Care Services work in regional territories
• Prospect using consultative techniques to build relationships
• Develop Tree Care programs and estimates for existing clients
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, and negotiations
• Network to increase new accounts in assigned territory
• Log activity in Salesforce and collaborate with internal teams
• Build relationships with key decision makers
• Travel as needed and manage multiple projects
