BrightView in Dallas seeks an entry-level Climber I to join our tree care team. You will perform pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals, supporting the crew on ground and in canopy while helping dispose of debris.

You will operate chippers and saws, use hand tools, and follow PPE standards to maintain safety. Must be 18+, able to work outdoors in varied weather, and willing to learn rope work and rigging.

Formación

• Demonstrated role-specific arborist skills or verifiable requisite experience.
• Ability to follow directions and established procedures related to roping and rigging, maintenance of equipment, and reporting malfunctioning equipment.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms and communicate using hand signals with climbers.
• Willingness to become EHAP, First-Aid and CPR certified.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal on the ground and in trees up to 60 feet.
• Access trees safely following company protocols and move through the canopy while removing branches.
• Operate powered equipment like chippers and blowers safely.
• Use chainsaw and related tools in ground and canopy work.
• Maintain safe, organized work zones and follow PPE requirements.
• Communicate with team and public to maintain safety and efficiency.
