Job summary

The Springs is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN Treatment Nurse to join our full-time team in a residential care setting in Arkansas. You'll provide hands-on nursing care, document resident status, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans.

A focus on wound care and pressure ulcer prevention will be central to daily responsibilities. Benefits include PTO, health, vision, and dental insurance, daily pay option, 8-hour shifts, and an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN or RN license.
• Experience in resident care settings preferred.
• Ability to observe, document, and communicate changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Perform skin assessments per facility procedures.
• Implement interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educate staff and families.
• Administer treatments and medications per physician orders and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and data entry.
• Assist with infection control surveillance and adherence to protocols.
• Supervise subordinate staff and assist in incident investigations.
• Identify and secure equipment and supplies for wound care.

Responsibilities of the Treatment Nurse include:

• Observing, assessing, and documenting resident conditions and changes
• Performing skin assessments in accordance with facility procedures
• Implementing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educating staff, residents, and families on their importance
• Administering treatments and medications as per physicians' orders and clinical guidelines
• Managing skin tears, surgical wounds, and other conditions
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Assisting with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles
• Monitoring subordinate staff activities and assisting in incident investigations
• Identifying and securing necessary equipment and supplies for wound care
