Sky Blue Healthcare LLC in the United States seeks an experienced Treatment Nurse to join our clinical team at a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on wound care, skin integrity, accurate documentation, and resident-centered care.
You will work with the interdisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes, participate in wound rounds, and ensure infection prevention practices. A current LPN/LVN or RN license is required; LTC experience preferred.
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Treatment Nurse to join our clinical team!

This position plays an important role in supporting positive clinical outcomes and maintaining strong standards of care throughout the facility.
Complete ordered wound and skin treatments accurately and timely
Perform routine skin assessments and identify changes in condition
Monitor wounds and document measurements, characteristics, progress, and response to treatment
Notify the physician and DON of significant changes or concerns
Ensure treatment orders and documentation are accurate and current
Collaborate with nursing, providers, dietary, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Assist with pressure injury prevention and skin integrity programs
Participate in wound rounds and follow up on recommendations
Maintain infection prevention practices during treatments
Ensure treatment carts and supplies are appropriately stocked and maintained
Assist the DON/ADON with clinical monitoring and audits related to wounds, treatments, and skin integrity
Provide resident-centered care while maintaining dignity and safety
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in good standing
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Wound care/treatment experience strongly preferred
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Knowledge of infection prevention and pressure injury prevention practices
Ability to work independently while being a strong part of the clinical team
Reliable, organized, and committed to quality resident care
