Job summary

The Springs in Fort Smith, AR is actively hiring for an LPN or RN Treatment Nurse. This full-time role offers PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, daily pay, flexible 8-hour shifts, and an on-call schedule.

You will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, document conditions, and manage wound care with access to necessary supplies. The position emphasizes patient assessment, skin care, education, and adherence to clinical guidelines in a friendly, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Observe, assess, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Administer treatments and medications per orders and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Perform skin assessments per facility procedures.
• Implement interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educate staff, residents, and families on their importance.
• Administer treatments and medications as per physicians’ orders and guidelines.
• Manage skin tears and wounds.
• Collaborate with the team on individualized care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles.
• Monitor subordinate staff activities and assist in incident investigations.
• Identify and secure equipment and supplies for wound care.
