Job summary

The Springs is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN Treatment Nurse to join our team as a full-time on-site caregiver in Kentucky. You will observe, assess, and document resident conditions, perform skin assessments, and implement interventions to prevent pressure ulcers while educating staff and families.

Responsibilities include administering treatments per physician orders, managing wounds, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring precise documentation and infection control.)

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (LPN or RN) required.
• Experience in long-term care or treatment nursing preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

- Observing, assessing, and documenting resident conditions and changes

- Performing skin assessments in accordance with facility procedures

- Implementing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educating staff, residents, and families on their importance

- Administering treatments and medications as per physicians’ orders and clinical guidelines

- Managing skin tears, surgical wounds, and other conditions

- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans

- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation

- Assisting with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles

- Monitoring subordinate staff activities and assisting in incident investigations

- Identifying and securing necessary equipment and supplies for wound care
