Landmark Amarillo is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services within our care team in Amarillo, TX. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and follow evidence-based protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an active LVN or RN license, has wound care experience, and demonstrates strong assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care or treatment procedures preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Resident-centered, compassionate approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate care plans with physicians and families.
• Evaluate residents' nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments

• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns

• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans

• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing

• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection

• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols

• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care
