Job summary

Springs of Fort Smith in Fort Smith, AR is seeking an LPN or RN Treatment Nurse to join the full-time clinical team. You will observe residents, perform skin assessments, administer treatments and medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to implement individualized care plans.

The role offers 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, PTO, vision/dental/health insurance, daily pay option, on-call responsibilities, and an equipped, supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Observing, assessing, and documenting resident conditions and changes
• Performing skin assessments in accordance with facility procedures
• Implementing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educating staff, residents, and families on their importance
• Administering treatments and medications as per physicians' orders and clinical guidelines
• Managing skin tears, surgical wounds, and other conditions
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Assisting with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles
• Monitoring subordinate staff activities and assisting in incident investigations
• Identifying and securing necessary equipment and supplies for wound care
