Job summary

Gentle Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to convert orthodontic consultations into starts while delivering a welcoming, informative experience for patients and families across Perris, Norco, Moreno Valley, and Riverside.

You will partner with orthodontists and clinical teams through evaluation, treatment recommendations, financing, scheduling, and treatment acceptance, focusing on patient-first service, clear communication, and timely follow-through.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dental or medical front office experience
• Orthodontic experience is strongly preferred
• Previous experience presenting treatment plans and discussing treatment costs with patients or families is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Confident and comfortable discussing treatment fees, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options
• Ability to communicate effectively with both adult patients and parents of pediatric patients
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• A proactive approach to patient follow-up and treatment acceptance
• Comfortable working toward case acceptance and treatment-start goals while maintaining a patient-first approach
• Comfortable using computers and dental practice management systems; QSI/Denticon experience is a plus

• Coordinate treatment start appointments and ensure a smooth transition to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate patient, treatment, and financial information
• Track consultations, pending treatment, case acceptance, and follow-up activity
• Collaborate with orthodontists, clinical teams, and office leadership to achieve patient care and practice goals
• Deliver a consistently professional, positive, and patient-focused experience

About The Role

As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will play a key role in converting orthodontic consultations into treatment starts while ensuring every patient and family receives a welcoming, informative, and supportive experience.

You'll partner closely with our orthodontists and clinical teams to guide patients through the consultation process—from their initial evaluation and recommended treatment through financial arrangements, scheduling, and treatment acceptance.

What We're Looking For

Compensation

$21–$27 per hour

Plus a $1,000 Signing Bonus!

Starting pay will be determined based on relevant orthodontic experience, treatment coordination experience, skills, and qualifications.
