The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable discussing finances with patients. Dental office experience, familiarity with treatment planning, insurance benefits, and practice management software (Open Dental)

Responsibilities

• Present and explain dental treatment plans to patients
• Review treatment costs, insurance estimates, and patient financial responsibility
• Discuss financing and payment options with patients
• Schedule recommended treatment and help maximize the doctor's schedule
• Follow up with patients who have unscheduled or outstanding treatment
• Maintain and work treatment follow-up lists
• Communicate effectively with doctors, clinical team members, and front office staff
• Answer patient questions regarding treatment recommendations and next steps
• Build relationships with patients and help them overcome barriers to completing treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment discussions and patient communication
• Assist with additional front-office responsibilities as needed

Full-Time Treatment Coordinator – Olentangy Modern Dental (HIRING IMMEDIATELY)

Hours of Operation

• Monday: 9-5
• Tuesday: 10-5
• Wednesday: 9-3:30
• Thursday: 8-4
• Friday: 8-3

Olentangy Modern Dental is looking for a motivated, organized, and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team full-time. Previous dental and/or treatment coordinating experience is preferred.

The Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in helping our patients understand their recommended dental care and feel confident moving forward with treatment. This position requires someone who is comfortable discussing treatment, finances, insurance estimates, and payment options while providing an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Present and explain dental treatment plans to patients
• Review treatment costs, insurance estimates, and patient financial responsibility
• Discuss financing and payment options with patients
• Schedule recommended treatment and help maximize the doctor's schedule

Dental office experience and familiarity with treatment planning, dental terminology, insurance benefits, and practice management software are preferred. Experience with Open Dental is a plus.
