South Jersey Smiles Inc is seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator to enhance patient experience and manage treatment processes in Moorestown Township, New Jersey. This role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, securing financial arrangements, and maintaining comprehensive patient records.

We are looking for an individual to:

• Greet patients and provide them with a comprehensive overview of the treatment process.
• Schedule patients for consultations, follow-ups, and treatment sessions while optimizing provider time and resources.
• Work closely with the dental team to prepare and review treatment plans, ensuring all parties are informed and in agreement.
• Secure financial arrangements with patients, discussing various financing options to accommodate their budgets.
• Follow up on treatment plans with patients, addressing any concerns and encouraging them to complete their prescribed treatments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, providing updates and information as needed to ensure everyone is informed.
• Educate patients on the importance of maintaining their dental health and how it contributes to their overall well-being.
• Handle patient objections and concerns with empathy and professionalism, providing solutions that enhance their satisfaction and trust.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in dental technology and treatment options to provide current and prospective patients with expert advice.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; further certification in dental office administration is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and maintaining long-term relationships with patients.
• Proficient in using dental office software and tools; knowledge of digital scheduling and record keeping.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines and patient needs.
• Commitment to adhering to ethical practices and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
• Demonstrable skills in negotiating and securing payment agreements from patients.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, capable of making informed decisions that benefit both the patient and the practice.
• A compassionate and positive attitude, ready to assist and comfort patients through their health journey.
