Job summary

WaFd Bank is supporting Treasury Relationship Managers to promote and implement deposit and Treasury Management products for clients. The role involves assisting in sales calls, onboarding, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Excellent customer service is emphasized, with attention to regulatory compliance and internal collaboration. Travel within the state and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance and/or accounting preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of bank operations, policies & products.
• Good math aptitude and MS Office proficiency.
• Minimum of 3 years of banking and/or treasury management sales experience.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Treasury Relationship Managers to prepare for new client calls and to identify new sales opportunities with existing clients.
• Provides product knowledge expertise during sales calls with potential and existing clients.
• Provides effective sales culture leadership for the profitable expansion of Deposit and Treasury Management relationships to support strategic growth.
• Maintain and develop a strong internal network and deepen existing treasury relationships.
• Adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
• Assist in producing professional quality proposals and respond to formal RFP's.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both external clients and internal colleagues throughout the bank.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions on product changes and Treasury Management.
• Maintain knowledge base of current and emerging business and Treasury Management products.
• Ensure the accurate implementation and servicing of all deposit and Treasury Management relationships.
• Update Treasury Relationship Managers regarding critical developments in customer relationships.
• Work with operations, servicing and product support personnel to ensure successful client on-boarding, customer satisfaction and ongoing support.
• Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by manager.
