Best Egg, part of Barclays, seeks a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst for the Payments Processing team in Wilmington, DE. The role centers on daily reconciliation of customer payment activity, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reflections across banking and internal systems.

The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with banking payments, and proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank reconciliation and financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems and payments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and drive to resolution.
• Effective communication with internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bank and customer payment reconciliations; resolve variances.
• Identify escalations and coordinate resolutions with Operations, Technology, and partners.
• Support daily cash forecasting and liquidity reporting.
• Process and track ACH and wire payments in banking platforms.
• Assist with bank reporting, account analysis, and closing deliverables.
• Prepare documentation for Accounting and monthly close.
• Monitor recurring exceptions and implement improvements in workflows.
• Support audits conducted for investors and warehouse facilities.
• Develop reports using SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI; provide ad hoc analyses.
• Provide cross-functional backup across Treasury.
