The role focuses on establishing controls and supporting strategic financing while ensuring timely financial reporting. The position involves coordinating with the CFO/Treasurer, managing external investment partners, monitoring debt covenants, and guiding post-issuance compliance while leading the Treasury

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with an emphasis in accounting, finance or auditing.
• Minimum of 3 years progressive treasury/finance experience in healthcare or regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees commercial banking, investment management, OCIO, and funding relationships; directs daily cash positioning and liquidity planning.
• Leads debt issuance, refinancing, and evaluation of financing alternatives.
• Ensures compliance with bond covenants and post-issuance requirements; coordinates with legal and actuarial teams.
• Manages insurance renewals and self-insurance programs; reviews actuarial reports and risk retention strategies.
• Prepares materials for treasury and finance committee meetings; supports financial reporting for affiliates.
