Job summary

The World Bank Group Treasury seeks an Extended Term Consultant to support IRA and TREFT initiatives in Washington, D.C. The role blends hands-on development with operational treasury responsibilities, delivering reconciliations, investigations, and financial data automation.

You'll work across systems like Quantum, Murex, Summit, SAP and the Power Platform, building automation using SQL, Python, and AI-enabled tools while aligning with governance standards and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge in finance systems and treasury operations.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and one or more languages (Python, Java, C/C++).
• Experience with MS Power Platform and AI/automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operational delivery for HQ operations including reconciliations and reporting.
• Drive automation and process re-engineering within IRA and TREBK.
• Contribute to IT transformation projects and system upgrades.
• Collaborate across onshore/offshore teams and governance groups.
